It was lowered when I got but it wasn't done the right way. They just cut the springs and bent the I beams. The I beams were resting on the crossmember baging on every pebble. I agree it looked good but that was about it, . I originally was going to make it like a rat rod but now I just wanna restore it and turn it into a vintage bugout vehicle.guerra wrote:Why did you raise it? You had it looking good!

Re: How many Az bumps?
I have a 71 F-100 and a collection of derelicts, parts trucks and maybe future road projects. The 71 was bought new in Bisbee and I bought it from the original owner's widow quite some time ago. I haven't had to do too much to it except rebuild the AT a few years ago, and it is again tired. I love the old thing, it is an honest old beast, and easy to work on,hehe.
1965 F-100 300-6 working on it, wanted a first year Twin I-Beam 300, now I gots one
1971 F-100 Custom 302 C4
1962 F-100 Custom Cab 292 3 on the tree, restoring, probably gonna sell it I guess. Love the engine.
1972 Maverick 2 DR 250 I-6, C4, restoring.
1978 F-150 always wanted one of these too. 300, 3+1 OD trans, pretty well preserved, working on it
1985 F-350 460 crew cab, rough as a cob
All these are southern Arizona desert trucks, little to no rust, but the sun takes its toll,ha.
