Fuel Tank for passenger side

Hi folks,

i would like to take the fuel tank out of the cab and install a other one under the bed on the passenger side. Has anyone ever done this before?

Anything is possible with the correct fab skills. Back in the day there were plastic aftermarket tanks that were filled from the wheel well. I've seen a couple over the years in the junk yard but I don't think you'll find any in Germany.

Really a good fabrication or mechanic shop should be able to retrofit a newer between the frame tank to your truck. It's just a matter of finding something that will fit and mounting it safely.
