Cancer seems to be all around us. Last August I lost my best friend(really a brother) to colon cancer. He fought very hard for 1.5 yrs but in the end it was to aggressive. Hardest thing I have ever been through. I asked God a thousand times why him, such a God fearing guy. But I have come to the realization that I was being selfish. I wanted him here with me but really he is soo much better off. No pain, no cancer and in total piece with God. He is where we should all desire to go, with God.

You are going to go through a ton of emotions but remember rely on God and family to get you through. And spend as much time as you can with him and let him know how important he is to you. Praying for you.

Thank you all for your kind words. I will pass them to Chet.
To all who r dealing with cancer or any terrible illness within themselves or loved ones. My heart felt feeling and prayers are with you.
As some of you know, my dear wife, Vicki, lost her battle to cancer 4 years ago. Faith in the Lord helps, but the hole in ones world remains.
Thanks again and keep on Trucking.......John

John,
Sorry to hear about your brother. Our family is praying for yours.
We put my brother in the nursing home yesterday. Cancer has also about beaten him. His is in his head.
The nurse from hospice said she has never seen anyone still alive in his condition.

You're not alone. My dad was diagnosed with a tumor on his bile duct about a month ago. He has a stint in and is on chemo right now and we're hoping for a good outcome.
