LMC mirrors

Post by Power By Ford 70 F250 4x4 »

I got mirrors from a friend who got them from LMC, they have the V shaped frame like on a 79 is there any way to get them to sit level and work on a bump side

Only if ya bend them.. which I would advise against.

I suggest getting mirrors intended for bumps- their brackets and bases correctly angled for the Bump body.

I was afraid of that. Do you know if they make that style for bumps?

I got the LMC factory style mirrors for my 1967 Ranger, they look and fit like the originals as far as I can tell, not dissapointed at all with them.

I've been using 1980's Ford mirrors for a good while. I like them because they are a bit less
wind drag than the old "semi truck" type mirrors it used to have. Also can be rotated out of the way
if needed. I forgot the year of the truck they came off. Seems like it was an 84 maybe, but I fergot..
The old flat mirrors were like barn doors as far as the wind. And didn't match either.. One was white,
one was aluminum.. :hmm:
When a friend of mine bought new mirrors to replace these, he gave em to me.
I forgot what holes I used.. I likely used at least one end the old holes, But I might have had to drill
new holes for the other end, and I also had to bondo over a few holes from the old mirrors that didn't
get used.
You can see the drivers side on this shot. Can't see much of the pax side mirror, but it's the same..
