Re: How much money do you have in your truck?
I currently have $11,500 into my 1967 F00 SWB. It was lots of chassis work done to it and I just bought $2,000 worth of parts to upgrade the motor. I am stoping when I hit the $15,000 mark for sure.

, I got more then that in my driver side wing window to hold it shut tighter and stop the whistling. 60 cents to be exact with two quarters and two nickles, I only need a nickel on the passenger side.ToughOldFord wrote:There's about .37 cents in the ash-tray.

I have more money in my truck than I'll ever get out of it and it's not even painted yet.

Like Tim Allen quoted: I restore vehicles that have no value compared to what is invested, but it is the passion that keeps me going:

Re: How much money do you have in your truck?
Well after reading everyone else's dollar amount "invested" I am feeling a little sick to my stomach. I have pretty much made every mistake possible over the last 5 years, made mistakes, got ripped off by some people, and did stuff the wrong way then the right way......So if I had to guess I would say my total bill will be just over $40K, and when you see the finished product (hopefully sometime soon) you will wonder how the heck I wasted that much cash on a relatively simple restore....but I did it....YAY ME!!
What the heck, you only live once right?......or something like that.
The saying that I often tell myself is this one:
Do you know how to make a small fortune restoring vehicles? Start with a large fortune......

Re: How much money do you have in your truck?
The truck cost $650.... I've got about $5,500 in parts awaiting installation. Most of that is an Edelbrock E-Street EFI kit.
