Gas Monkey / Fast and Loud show

Post by JG F100 »

Anyone else hooked on this show yet? Kept seeing an F100 in the background, hadnt seen the first episode, just watched it on discovery.com and they use the truck to move a model A. Pretty good show, it airs Wednesdays on discovery channel.

Here is a link to the full episode 1...

I caught it for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I like it. If there was any rust free old iron left around here, I'd probably have a similar shop here in MA.

Starting at 7PM EST tonight, Discovery channel is doing a little marathon of the show.

I watch it every week. Something a little different, not your normal car show. Also saw the bump

my eagle eye caught what looked like a complete crown-vic setup on the garage floor in one of their garage shots, I think it was during a commercial break, it was for about a second or too. Wonder what they did with it.

I noticed in the video at the top when watching it showed a shop that is in my town. It showed a old chevy panel by the road. Pretty good show.

I don't know, the jury is sort of still out for me, I don't like how they are always in a huge hurry and will do things because they only have 24 hours or similar nonsense...

I actually think putting the crate motor in the ols Oldsmobile was a bit of a crime, might have been the same car they cut the rear fenders on because they didn't have time to wait on the correct size wheels...

I mean it is not a bad show but I certainly wouldn't take my car there for anything and I also hate they way they say "world famous gas monkey garage" when I'm pretty sure it isn't...(world famous that is)

I thought the Jessie James show was entertaining, but I'm not sure they have done more than one episode...? :hmm:

Coming on in a minute. Supposedly re-doing a 1968 Bump.

looks like maybe its under the truck... those look like later model mustang wheels, and 4.5 lug pattern...

Just saw a commercial for next week.. supposedly building a "hot rod truck" with a "big" motor. Appears to be a bump with a ford mod motor. we will see next week
