That is a nice looking rig! I guess I could offer you $900 for it since you towed it and all.

Did I mention that I am jealous?

SO tonight after work I brought my service truck over to my dads and took the front clip off my parts truck and shelved all the fenders and sheet metal I couldnt belive how nice all the stuff was. Then I painstakenly unplugged the entire wiring harness out of the parts truck for the crewcab. This was the first time Ive been over there since I towed it over and really got a good peek at everything. I was suprised in how remarkably good shape the crew is overall. I couldnt get the back seat to fold down to peek at the build sheet but it is the original upolstrey on it so I imagine that it is there. Did our trucks have a oil bath air cleaner option? This truck does have a oil bath air cleaner but I dont know if somebody added that or it could have come that way. It was dark by the time I got over there so I wasnt able to get more pictures this time around. Im hoping for sunday.

Good morning Rich,

That is exciting! I'll drop by and add some eyeballs to the scenario tomorrow if you'll be around. I've always looked forward to a chance to look at a crew up close, since they're special rides. And I'll bring a camera and take 10,000 photos if you'll permit it. :)

Hey Rich, will definitely bring our camera! Unfortunately it's not a great camera (my old Canon SLR died a while back), but it's an OK point-and-shoot camera and will definitely exceed the RAZR phone's quality!

Will also bring my video camera in case an action film is in order. :)

Good evening,

On Sunday, October 29th I went to check out Rich's new crew', and it is definitely a keeper! It was fascinating to see a crew' up close.

Click to enlarge, if you wish.

The body looked very clean, and the doors worked perfectly!

Factory A/C.

The roof looked unusually good! Rich has a story about the roof that he might post about.

ImageImage

This barn setting seemed like the most natural place for a special truck like this.

Image

The top-end door panels were in good shape too.

These horns were mounted facing the driver--great for those long drives home at night where your eyes keep falling shut!

Image

Rich pulled out one of his incredible out-of-production tires to see how it would look on the crew'.

Thanks to Rich for letting me get a close look at this unusual truck!!!

Hey Robroy, Im glad you were able to make it out! Not only for the photo shoot but the test drive as well. Thanks for posting, your camera is much better quality than my phone camera and can really show exactly what is sitting in the barn.

Great find...you're gonna be real popular in that rig in the mall parking lots...park on a slant and cover up at least 3...that'll make the yuppies cry.
