Wierd discovery (late-model bumpside)
Apparently the F-100 bumpside was in production in Brazil for a few years after '72:
It's for sale, R12.500,00, (whatever that means) If I recall correctly, this one has a 292 with electronic ignition and F-600 dash, ALL FACTORY!

Brazil Ford also made the smart move of NEVER hooking up with navistar and offering Cummins engines as standard equipment in thier trucks.
They have all kinds of cool stuff we don't have.

they call them the F1000 down there. if you like ranger grilles. and driving on the right side. they made other versions which were pretty cool. kind of like crewcab broncos.

There are a few members on here from Brazil, I was going to order a grill from them, but when we got adding in taxes and shipping, it was driving the price to around 800 dollars or so. I just couldn't see paying that much but lord wouldn't it be cool to have one!

I'm not questioning your info but from what I have gathered they don't have Cummins engines but MWM which is now majority owned by Navistar. There is a guy in town here who used to live in South America and he told me the same. MWM are supposed to be really good engines from what I've read. It says they were produced from 1979 - 1995. Production ended due to new model Rangers, but poor sales led to the return of the F1000 for 1996 - 1998.

The little stuff is MWM rangers/F150's.
That's a Brazilian Built Ford with the standard engine option- HPCR intercooled 4BT and ZF 5 speed

- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...
